Founding Sister

Founding Sister Abigail Rodriguez began our beautiful Pi Chapter sisterhood on November 6, 1993.


Founding Sister "Abby", as often she affectionately is referred to those closest to her, graduated West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She later passed and obtained her Certified Public Accountant Licensure.  


Currently, she works as the Vice President for an Established Insurance Company in the City of Philadelphia.

Spring 1994

A native of Philadelphia, Diana Torralvo earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.  In the spring of 1994 Ms. Torralvo became a Sister of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc.


Ms. Torralvo is an Account Executive at Bellevue Communications Group, a public relations and marketing firm located in Center City Philadelphia.  She also serves as a project manager for the media and brand strategy division. 

​

She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Philadelphia Ad Club. Sister Torralvo has recently received a new position working at NBC/Telemundo. In her spare time, Diana enjoys watching movies, bicycling and travelling.

Spring 1996

Erika Evans-Weaver PhD was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Erika holds a Bachelor's Degree in French and Spanish from West Chester University where she became a Sister of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. in the spring of 1996.  She later achieved a Master's Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from LaSalle University. 

​

Erika has been a Marriage and Family Therapist, Quality Assurance Director, and Clinical Specialist for a number of social service agencies in the Philadelphia area.

​

Erika is excited to work with diverse populations in a multitude of professional settings as an educator, a clinician and an advocate for positive change, positive sexual habits, and a healthy life.


Professor Evans is currently the Director of Master's Program & Field Placement Director for Human Sexuality Studies at Widener University.

Fall 2000

#1 Elvita Quiñones was born in Newark, New Jersey.  A first generation Puerto Rican-American, Elvita graduated from West Chester University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Art in Political Science.  In 2005 she obtained her Master of Science in Nonprofit Management with a focus on Higher Education Administration from Eastern University.  A lifetime alumna, Ms. Quiñones became a sister of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. in the fall of 2000 at Pi Chapter, West Chester University.

Spring 2017

#1 Laura Reyes is a dual business major with Marketing and Management with a double minor in Spanish and Latin&Latino Studies. Laura is the secretary for the American Marketing Association and will be on NABA's board Fall 2017 semester as community service chair. Laura enjoys embracing her Dominican culture, especially through food and dancing.

#2 Ivery Houston is studying Political Science: International Relations. Ivery is passionate about politics, cooking, reading, and experiencing new cultures. She is currently the public relations representative for the Muslim Student Association and Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc.
